Jurassic PrickYou would think a hugely successful writer like Michael Crichton is at least beyond hurling dirt the way preschoolers do in a sandbox:
Who was this Mick Crowley? [...] And that's when it dawned on me: I happen to be a Washington political journalist. And, yes, I did attend Yale University. And, come to think of it, I had recently written a critical 3,700-word cover story about Crichton. In lieu of a letter to the editor, Crichton had fictionalized me as a child rapist. And, perhaps worse, falsely branded me a pharmaceutical-industry profiteer.Read the rest of Michael Crowley's TNR piece at the link above, including the offensive passages from Crichton's book.
I guess Crichton can now claim a new title on top of "best selling author" and global warming denier: Jurassic Prick.
