Great News on Tim Johnson

He's moved to rehab:

Two months after his brain hemorrhage, South Dakota Sen. Tim Johnson (news, bio, voting record) has left a Washington hospital and entered a private rehabilitation facility, his office said Tuesday.

A spokeswoman refused to say whether the senator remained in Washington or was moved to a facility in South Dakota, citing family concerns about media scrutiny. "They just want him to focus on getting better and not worried about outside cameras snapping away," said spokeswoman Julianne Fisher [...]

Johnson's office has said his recovery is expected to take several months, though he has been doing some work from his bed.

"He's reading memos, but he still needs time for recovery," Fisher said.

Johnson had put his re-election plans on hold and halted putting together a campaign team pending his recovery from the brain hemorrhage he suffered on Dec. 13. But with Johnson's rehabilitation following brain surgery going well, his aides now say they anticipate he will seek another term....

And to think not long ago, pundits over at Faux News salivated over how he could be declared incapacitated so the Republican governor of South Dakota could appoint a replacement tipping the balance of power in the Senate.
