Minnesota DFL Office Burglarized... AgainI'm suddenly having Watergate flashbacks:
For a second time this month, someone has broken into DFL Headquarters in St. Paul. Indications are that the intruder broke into the office of Andrew O'Leary, the DFL's executive director, stealing a computer that was not visible from outside of the building and going through materials in his desk.Hat tip to Crooks and Liars, which also mentioned other Democratic office break ins in Ohio and New Hampshire. Computers owned by the DFL's executive director and interim communications director were stolen in the two separate breakins in Minnesota. The computer owned by the party chairman was stolen in Ohio. No word on what was stolen in New Hampshire.
Mostly computers, of Democratic party officials. The incidents may not be related, but perhaps law agencies in all three states should compare notes given the common factors.
For the meantime, you'd think people would know better than to leave laptops lying around in the office. At least attach a tracking device, jeeze.
