Missing, Not White

Greta van Susteren practically moves to Aruba while Latoyia Figueroa, a pregnant black woman missing for weeks, as well as a host of other minority women, barely get a mention in the press.

If Latoyia is white, she would be a household name with cable and network news running constant coverage and updates.

Racism and elitism rear their ugly heads.

Only the blogosphere and a few newspapers have taken notice. The All Spin Zone and Richard Cranium has been tireless in the search for Latoyia.
