Seems Eliott Spitzer is a shoo in.

None of the other possible contenders have a fighting chance against the popular Democratic A.G..

Except perhaps the Indie Tom Golisano, he with the deep pockets, but he's lost the governor's race three times already.

Could be a sign Pataki is mulling a run in ' 08? He'll have it tough if Rudy Giuliani runs.
