Shaming Jean Schmidt

Though Lamar Advertising refused to run their billboard ads, the Democratic National Committee wasn't letting Jean Schmidt get off that easy after practically calling 30-year Marine veteran Jack Murtha a coward on the House floor.

Here's the mobile billboard they'll be running in her district:

And here's the newspaper ad:

Schmidt narrowly beat Fighting Dem Paul Hackett in a special election held last August for the seat of outgoing Ohio Congressman Rob Portman.

She's up for re-election in 2006. Her district is strongly Republican, but a mouth too big for her brain may prove to be the Dems' biggest ally in nipping her political career in the bud,
