"I Can't Name Them All"

Lynn Westmoreland of Georgia has never introduced any legislation ever since he became a congressman.

So what does he do? He goes for the easy red meat-baiting legislation by co-sponsoring a bill to display the Ten Commandments in the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Except, he doesn't even know what the Ten Commandments are.

Colbert: You have not introduced a single piece of legislation since you entered Congress.
Westmoreland: That's correct.

Colbert: This has been called a do nothing Congress. Is it safe to say you're the do nothingest?

Westmoreland: I, I, ..Well there's one other do nothinger. I don't know who that is, but they're a Democrat.

Colbert: What are the Ten Commandments?

Westmoreland: You mean all of them?--Um... Don't murder. Don't lie. Don't steal Um... I can't name them all.

I'm not sure when he's up for re-election but it'll be interesting to see how this pandering fiasco affects his chances in the 8th district of Georgia. Way to go, Congressman Westmoreland. Keep up the good work!
