DeLay: It Ain't Fair

Tom DeLay needs to keep his campaign money for his legal defense, so he tried gaming the system by claiming he's ineligible to run because he's no longer a Texan and that the Texas GOP should be allowed to appoint his replacement.

Since the court disagreed and said he can only be replaced by a write-in candidate, he's crying foul.

Well, tough.

And with a name like Shelley Sekula-Gibbs for a write-in replacement, DeLay and the Texas GOP might as well kiss his old seat goodbye.
