DeLay's Dilemma

Oooh, DeLay calls Scalia's decision stupid.

Tom is miffed, see. He's forced to run in Texas when all he wants to do is slither away and keep his $600,000 campaign donations for his legal defense.

Since Scalia refused to take him off the ballot, he's forced to withdraw and support a write-in candidate.

What are the chances that a write-in candidate would win? Let's just say much worse than the chance DeLay would be found innocent of corruption.

Congressman Nick Lampson sure sounds good.
