Katherine Harris ImplodingHer staffers quit, the GOP deserted her, and now she looks to be in violation of House rules when she hid her subpoena:It's unfortunate that after receiving a federal grand jury subpoena, Rep. Katherine Harris (R-FL) declined to mention it to her Senate campaign staff.Joshua Micah Marshall reports the pathetic woman is reduced to pretending a bad connection when contacted by the press. Taegan Goddard quotes her former staffer who made a point worth pondering: Said former aide Glenn Hodas: "Finding out about the subpoena caused me to wonder about what was going on and what else I didn't know.Yes, Katherine, what else don't we know? Of course being in violation of House rules doesn't look good for Harris, but realistically speaking, being held accountable by the good-for-nothing, Republican controlled House Ethics Committee is a long shot, unless the Committee wants to lend the local GOP party a hand in getting rid of her. And since her party openly wants her out of the race, I wonder what role they played in making this discovery public? Image: AP/Alan Diaz. +Save/Share | | |
