Biggest Losers

I agree with Pachacutec at Firedoglake: tonight, these two have the biggest L's on their foreheads.

Last night, we also learned that Karl "Bush's Brain" Rove is not a genius and will now be known as the architect of the biggest Republican defeat in recent history, in spite of the war chest and redistricting advantage.

As for Dubya, remember that "mandate" you were boasting about just two years ago? Well, we the electorate have taken it back. And oh, we really, really don't like you.

As for the conservatives who try to console themselves by saying that it was not a Democratic win so much as a Republican loss, please note that not only have Democrats won a decisive victory in the House with a 28-seat (at least) pickup, we also did not lose one single Democratic Party-held seat. Not one.

And lastly, to dear AdNags: eat our smoke.
