Bush's Judicial Nominees Throw In The TowelA.P. reports the withdrawal of four of Bush's most extreme judicial picks as a "concession" to the ruling Democrats in the House.Hogwash. It's more saving face than a concession. Bush knows these nominees have no chance in Hades of getting confirmed and was probably breathing a sigh of relief that they withdrew; for all we know, he asked them to withdraw. Is this a signal that Bush will be fielding more moderate nominees? Remains to be seen. Above The Law similarly wonders. Down With Tyranny weighs in. Tags:
