"I Don't Know, I Don't Remember"

When asked his opinion about a national catastrophe fund, Freddie Thompson answered, "I don’t know enough about it yet…I’ll give it serious consideration".

When asked his opinion about Terrie Schiavo, Freddie Thompson answered, "I don’t know the facts surrounding that case…That’s going back in history. I don’t remember the details of it".

History? That was two years ago.

This guy increasingly looks all sizzle, no substance. Responses like this makes him look clueless and senile, not a good thing considering he's not exactly a spring chicken. Doesn't inspire much confidence, does it?
