Abducted Journalist Named

A statement from the Christian Science Monitor.

Of course her safe return is the priority, but I'm curious if there is an established protocol on when the press reveals the identity of abductees. There was roughly a 48-hour news blackout on who she is because that time period is considered crucial in securing her release.

Unfortunately, there has been no contact from anyone claiming responsibility.
