Ken Lay "Was Using Enron Like a Damn ATM Machine"
Anatomy of fraud and conspiracy.
Reading the account of former Enron executive Paula Rieker who was unflappable on the stand, it's hard to imagine that Kenny Boy Lay was clueless about the fraud and intentional misrepresentation going on at the company.
Rieker gave her testimony as part of a plea bargain. Though Lay's lawyers tried to discredit her, it's clear she put a large dent on his contention that he didn't know what was going on, otherwise known as the "stupid defense".
