No More F.U.'s for FriedmanTommy Friedman who infamously said in this Charlie Rose interview that we had to wage war in Iraq just "because we can" and so we can tell Iraqis "to suck on this", now says there are no more Friedman Units (aka F.U.'s, aka six more months) left and it's time to set definite deadlines. [via Atrios] Ah yes, our media band leaders in action, ladies and gentlemen: realizing they're out of tune long after the rest of the band quit following their lead. Meanwhile, what have those endless F.U.'s cost us in human lives? 3,800 U.S. soldiers killed, 27,753 soldiers wounded and possibly one million Iraqis dead. Technorati Tags:
