Breaking: Labor Leads in Australian Election

It looks like bye bye Howie, hello Kevin Rudd:

Australia's opposition Labor Party led the ruling Liberal-National coalition in today's election, according to exit polls broadcast on Sky News television.

Labor gained 53 percent of the vote, compared with the coalition's 47 percent, according to 2,787 voters polled in marginal seats. Voting began at 8 a.m. local time and polls close at 6 p.m.
Not only will Howard no longer be Prime Minister, it also looks like he'll lose his parliamentary seat:

Prime Minister John Howard, 68, may also lose his seat of Bennelong in Sydney, Sky's exit poll showed. Howard gained 47 percent of the vote and Labor candidate Maxine McKew had 53 percent, the exit poll said.
Ouch.
